The terms for using this website. The Standard itself is free and open under the Charter and the Seal Usage License. Effective 14 August 2026.
By using pitchcouncil.org you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The judging standard published here is free to read, adopt, reproduce, and redistribute, on the terms set out in the Council’s Charter and, for the seals, the Seal Usage License. Those documents govern how you may use the Standard and display the seals; nothing on this page overrides them.
You may quote and link to this site freely. Reusing the Standard is encouraged with attribution; reusing the seals is governed by the Seal Usage License. The Council’s name, logos, and other branding are not licensed for reuse and may not be used in a way that suggests the Council endorses you when it does not.
Use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to break, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to it, and do not represent yourself as the Council, misstate what the Council has recognized, or imply an endorsement the Council has not given.
The site and the Standard are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The Council does not warrant that adopting the Standard or displaying a seal will produce any particular result, or that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Council and its directors, officers, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of the site or your adoption of the Standard. This mirrors the release in Section 11 of the Charter.
The site may link to third-party sites and tools. Links are offered for convenience and are not endorsements; the Council is not responsible for their content or practices.
The Council may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted here, and continuing to use the site means you accept them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
